Ferry Corsten – es uno de los pioneros del llamado género «Trance» y uno de los referentes a nivel mundial de la música electrónica.Actualmente, considerado el DJ número 9 por la prestigiosa revista «DJmag».

A los amantes de este género musical les vendrán a la cabeza Grandes nombres como, por ejemplo; Moonman, Gouryella o Veracocha!! Pues en todos ellos, este icono tiene que ver algo. Moonman es un nombre que se dio a él mismo para crear otro propio estilo dentro del «trance».Gouryella se dió a conocer con grandes titulos como: Gouryella o Tenshi. Este grupo lo formaron, nada más y nada menos, que el mismo Ferry y Dj Tiesto.El tercero, simple y llanamente conocido por el más que exitoso «Carte Blanche», lo formó con otro que entiende algo de esto, el francés Vincent de Moor. Hay no es nada, pues donde llego más alto fue con el pseudónimo de:  System F, con una infinidad de temas que rozaron la gloria como: «Out of the blue», «Exhale» o «In motion» ,entre otros.

Otros pseudónimos en los que aparece son : «A Jolly Good Fellow», «Albion», «Bypass», «Dance Therapy», «Digital Control», «Eon», «Exiter», «Ferr», «Firmly Underground», «Free Inside», «Funk Einsatz», «Kinky Toys», «Party Cruiser», «Pulp Victim», «Raya Shaku» y  «Sidewinder».
